- Promotion is valid till 30 September 2023.
- stc pay has the right to end the promotion without prior notice after obtaining MOIC approval.
- stc pay has the right to modify or update the promotion rules and conditions after obtaining MOIC approval.
- Prior to any change on the promotion terms & conditions, stc pay will communicate the changes to the customers through the website, SMS or any other channel.
- Promotion is valid for existing and new stc pay customers.
- Promotion is valid only if customer stc pay account is in active status.
- Promotion is valid only for stc pay Physical and/or Digital card successful payment transactions.
- A transaction will be considered successful if the transaction is successfully settled with the merchant.
- In case of cancelled transactions, chargebacks, or returns, cashback rewards will be reclaimed.
- stc pay reserves the right to review the transactions related to this promotion.
- ATM cash withdrawals will not be considered as payment transactions
- Purchases made before the start date and purchases made after the end date are not eligible for cashbacks
- Cashbacks are calculated based on the percentage of successful payment transactions
- Cashbacks are calculated on the Bahraini Dinar amounts that are successfully settled
- Customer is eligible for the cashbacks as per the following:
1% cashback for the transactions in Bahraini Dinar limited to “maximum of” BHD 50 monthly
3% cashback for the transactions in non-Bahraini Dinar limited to “maximum of” BHD 30 monthly
3% cashback for the transactions performed at selected merchants* limited to “maximum of” BHD 20 monthly
6% cashback for the transactions performed at Happy Friday selected merchants* limited to “maximum of” BHD 10 monthly - Only transactions worth BD 1 or more are eligible for the cashback (Transactions below BD 1 are not eligible for the cashback).
- Customer is eligible for maximum of BD 100 as total cashback amounts for the calendar month.
- The cashback amount will be credited to the customer’s stc pay account automatically and instantly once the transaction is successfully settled
- stc pay is not responsible for any delays or failure to deliver the cashbacks
- Customer is eligible for double cashback as per the following:
• Customer should have a minimum of BHD 500 worth of total successful international non-BHD payment transactions.
• Customer’s total successful payment transactions performed with stc pay Physical and/or Digital card within the calendar month will be calculated at the end of the calendar month.
• A transaction will be considered successful if the transaction is successfully settled with the merchant.
• ATM cash withdrawals will not be considered as payment transactions (not eligible for double cashback offer).
• Government payments will not be added to the calculation (not eligible for double cashback offer).
• Petrol station payments will not be added to the calculation (not eligible for double cashback offer).
• In case of cancelled transactions, chargebacks, or returns, cashback rewards will be reclaimed - Cashbacks credited to customer’s stc pay account for the calendar month will be calculated at the end of the calendar month. (i.e., starting from 1st day of the month from 00:00:01 to the last day of the month 23:59:59)
- On the same calendar month, the customer is eligible for a maximum of BD 130 as total cashback from both the Instant cashback (on point 15 above) and the double cashback (on point 19 above).
• Example for a customer who has not exceeded the BHD 30 maximum cashback amount (for the international payments):
If during the month, customer received BHD 25 as instant cashback, at the end of the month, and if he is eligible for the double cashback, stc pay will credit BHD 25 extra under double cashback offer. So the customer will receive total of BHD 50 cashback amount.
• Example for a customer who will exceed the BHD 30 maximum cashback amount (for the international payments):
If during the month, customer received BHD 30 as instant cashback, at the end of the month, and if he is eligible for the double cashback,
stc pay will credit only BHD 30 extra under double cashback offer. - The double cashback amount will be credited to the eligible customer’s stc pay account within 5 working days in the next calendar month. Customer should be in active status to receive the cashback amount.
- stc pay, in its sole discretion, may revoke the cashbacks from customers who:
• has abused the promotion,
• has violated any terms and conditions,
• has performed fraudulent activity or in violation of applicable laws,
• If the account became dormant. - stc pay has the right to add and/or remove any of the selected merchants eligible for this promotion during the promotion after MOIC approval
